I love cookies and have seen the idea of a giant cookie pop up online a number of times but never really thought about trying myself until I noticed the idea of introducing Terry's chocolate orange... oh hang on! now i'm interested!
The what if i then cooked it in the pizza oven? would it work? Only one way to find out!
Now luckily for you it is much much easier to just throw in the oven - I too will probably go down the oven route next time however when shooting a video, cooking in the oven just looks soooo good.
Ingredients
175 g butter (soft)
150 g light brown soft sugar
50 g caster sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Zest of 2 small oranges or 1 large
250 g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
small pinch salt
1 Terry's Chocolate Orange (or 157g of an alternative chocolate)

Directions
Fire up you pizza oven or more simply turn on your oven and set to 165C fan
Grease your skillet pan with butter
Mix together your butter with the light brown sugar and caster sugar
Add the egg, vanilla extract and orange zest then give it another mix
Sieve in your flour, baking powder and salt, mix again
Chop/break up your Terry's chocolate orange to your chosen size. Save a small amount to one side for topping then add the rest to the cookie mix
Place the cookie dough in the pan and press to the edges
Bake in the conventional oven for 25 minutes (approx) subject to how you like it. For this time you should have crispy on the outside and softer in the middle.
Do not that it will get more crispy once cooled!! So if it does seem a tad soft after 25mins dont worry, it will get more biscuit like after its cooled.
Lastly, once of the oven sprinkle your chocolate that was set aside and plan how your will devour it!
Custard? Squirty cream? Ice cream? Melted chocolate sauce over the top??
Enjoy!
